He provided us with so much history in a fun and exciting way.

Wonderful Westminster – Buckingham Palace, Big Ben & Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square and London Eye are all on the menu for this one. Need I say more?

Seedy Southwark – Known affectionately to some of us as Shakespeares playground , this was where all the fun stuff went on in the days of the Tudors.  A prison , a palace and a playhouse called the Globe are just some of the delights of this one.
Its Only RocknRoll – An endless list of rock stars are associated with this great city including in no particular order the Beatles (alright I did put them first!) , the Stones, Bowie, the Clash, Jimi Henrix, Adam Ant ……….. I could go on.  If you really like your music this one can be turned into a full day in the car in which you’ll visit a number of locations in London.
Other walking tours include , Sherlock Holmes in London, Secret Service,  Dickens in the City, The Law Courts, Soho, World War Two and for those into sport, there are also football tours.

The Old City – Nearly 2000 years old, this area has seen it all! The centre of finance with its alleyways, nooks and crannies and a constant haunt of Dickens, Samuel Johnson and even visited by Mark Twain we can throw in a visit to St Pauls Cathedral too just for good measure!

Kosher London – A tremendous influence on the culture of London, the Jews have been and gone and come again to London over the last 1000 years. A couple of synagogues, a soup kitchen, a beautifully touching sculpture and of course a sprinkling of humour are offered up here.
Jack the Ripper – In 1888 a number of brutal murders were commited on women. Why this was done and who it was are questions that can never be answered but we do know who the women were and how they were murdered. Not for the faint-hearted as this ones pretty graphic!

We wanted to see some of the unique side streets and buildings . Mission accomplished! Thank you Laurence for a great day.
